Riverlife Adventure Centre is located in the Naval Stores at the base of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, across the river from Brisbane’s CBD.
City Ferry - #1 option if coming from the city!
Catch the Thornton Street ferry from Eagle Street Pier. Turn right when
you get off the ferry and follow the Riverlife signs. Riverlife is 300m
from the Thornton Street ferry terminal.
Parking - River Terrace – park at the top of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs near the
TAFE building, walk down the cliff stairs, turn right and walk 300m to
Riverlife.
Lower River Terrace – park in the free public carpark at the base of
the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, then follow the Riverlife signs along the
river and cycle path, a distance of 800m.
Hamilton Street (off Bright Street) – take a short 350m walk along the river and cycle path towards the Kangaroo Point Cliffs.
Direct disabled access to Riverlife (via Lower River Terrace, Thornton
Street Ferry Terminal or Hamilton Street, Kangaroo Point) is available
upon request.
Bike - Follow the Riverlife signs on the river and cycle path at Kangaroo
Point, on the edge of the Brisbane River (through the Kangaroo Point
Parklands). Bike racks available for bike lockup.
Walk from the City - Walk over the Goodwill Bridge, turn left and follow the river to Riverlife.
Train - Take any train to South Bank Station. Riverlife is a 2km walk along the
river from the station in the direction of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs.
Public bus - Take any Brisbane City Council bus to the South Bank Busway Station.
Riverlife is a 2km walk along the river from the bus station in the
direction of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs.
Private bus - There are two drop-off points. One is located at the end of Hamilton
Street, Kangaroo Point. From there, follow the Riverlife signs along
the river path towards the Kangaroo Point Cliffs.
The other drop-off point is on River Terrace at the top of the cliffs.
Walk down the cliff stairs near the TAFE building to the river and
cycle path, turn right and walk 300m to Riverlife.
City Sights Bus - Take the City Sights Bus to River Terrace, Kangaroo Point. Walk down
the cliff stairs (near the Tafe building) to the river and cycle path,
turn right and walk 300m to Riverlife.
Taxi - Catch a taxi to Thornton Street then follow the Riverlife signs along the river and cycle path towards the Kangaroo Point cliffs (380m walk).
