Professor Sohail Inayatullah is a political scientist/futurist associated with Tamkang University, Taiwan and the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia. He also co-teaches an annual course titled Futures thinking and strategy development at Mt Eliza Executive Education, Melbourne Business School.

He has authored/edited twenty-nine books, journal special issues and CD Roms with titles such as ‘Questioning
the Future’, ‘Youth Futures’, ‘Macrohistory and Macrohistorians’, ‘Ageing’, ‘City Futures’, and the ‘University
in Transformation’.

Michael McQueen, is a Sydney-based speaker, social researcher and business owner. Graduating from the University of Wollongong in 2002, he is the founder of his own training and consultancy company.

Michael has written two bestselling books. His first book, The ‘New’ Rules of Engagement focuses on demographic trends and strategies for engaging with Generation Y, while his second book Memento; The Gift of a Lifetime is designed to help parents and grandparents pass on a legacy of wisdom to the next generation.

Michael is sought after internationally as a conference keynote presenter and features regularly on Television and
Radio programs. In addition to his work in the government and education sectors, Michael’s corporate clients have
included Vodafone, Pepsi and Lenovo.

Bill has a wealth of experience in health facility management, and in the executive management of major health infrastructure projects. This combined background in health facility operations and capital works places Bill in an enviable position to assess the impact of design decisions on life cycle costs.

Bill has successfully directed a number of very high profile health infrastructure projects, including the Austin Hospital Redevelopment, The Royal Melbourne Hospital Redevelopment and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Redevelopment – the largest hospital redevelopment project in Australia at the time.

Bill is currently engaged by Queensland Health as the Project Director of the Gold Coast University Hospital, a $1.7 billion greenfield tertiary referral hospital project in Southport, Queensland.

A qualified engineer and health administrator, Bill has throughout his career been engaged in health facility related professional activities. He is a past National President of the Institute of Hospital Engineering Australia and a past Councillor of the International Federation of Healthcare Engineering.

Bill has a large number of publications on asset management and project management to his name and is a regular presenter at conferences on these topics. He is a winner of the Norcroft Medal, awarded by the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (UK) ‘in recognition of the especial merit of a contribution to the IHEEM Journal on the subject of Strategic Asset Management’.
