WelcomeThe Queensland Branch of the IHEA invites you to help us celebrate 60 years of IHEA national conferences:
Dear Colleagues The IHEA was formed almost 70 years ago, and in those seven decades has met some 59 times as a national body to exchange ideas, to boast of successes, to bond together, to challenge and to solve shared problems, to learn from each other, from consultants to the sector and from our suppliers, and last but not least, to establish or renew Australia-wide professional and personal friendships with others in our industry. This 60th National Conference provides us with a window from which to look towards the future of our Institute and our business. Accordingly, we chose the Conference theme, “Future Beginnings” to both recognise how far we, as a profession, have travelled, but also to highlight the challenges and opportunities for change, for improvement and for discovery that stand ahead of us in our next 60 years of meeting nationally. The Conference will provide you with an exciting array of high calibre presenters speaking on relevant, current and challenging topics. The program also includes supporting technical and trade activities, as well as some inviting social events to take advantage of Australia’s premier tourist destination, the Gold Coast.
