Call for Papers
Authors wishing to make a presentation at the Congress must submit the title and abstract of the proposed paper to the scientific committee of the Congress in the format prescribed below. Each abstract will be reviewed by the scientific committee who will consider the originality, relevance and scientific quality of the proposed presentation. The abstracts which are accepted will be published in a volume, a copy of which will be issued to each full participant.
All presenters are required to register for the Congress.
Abstract Guidelines:
- Authors must submit their abstracts on-line - hard copies will not be accepted.
- Abstracts will be approved according to their scientific/clinical merit and should be based on previously unpublished data.
- Abstract acceptance and program scheduling will be communicated to the corresponding author's email address.
- Abstracts should be submitted in English. Translation from other languages is the responsibility of the author.
- Abstracts should be structured to include an introduction, methods, results and conclusions. Abstracts of clinical presentation and case histories may deviate from this format.
- Authors have the opportunity to submit abstracts up to 300 words in length (excluding references).
- Abstracts will be judged on originality, significance, technical quality, relevance to the conference themes, and presentation.
- Submission of an abstract will be regarded as an undertaking that, should it be accepted, at least one author will register and attend the conference to present the work.
- Authors may submit more than one abstract, provided it meets the conditions outlined earlier.

- Create an Author Account - Please list the details of the PRESENTING AUTHOR as all correspondence will be sent to the person listed.
- Choose ‘Manage Documents'
- Choose to ‘Submit a New Document'
- Advise which theme your abstract addresses
- Advise if you wish for your abstract to be considered for an oral presentation or a poster
- After submission, documents can be edited by clicking on the pencil located to the left of the document name
Deadline for Submission of Abstracts: 3 June 2012
Notification of Acceptance of an Abstract: The authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their proposed presentation by 1 July 2012. The authors of accepted papers will receive, in due time, information on the date, hour, and practical aspects of their presentation.
Credits for Continuous Medical Education: Arrangements will be made to provide credit of Continuous Medical Education to the participants.
