Groundworks Australia specializes in the pneumatic application of environmentally friendly erosion control products.  We are currently completing projects for various government departments including covering steep batters with our Ecoblanket to prevent further erosion and to rehabilitate the surrounding areas with natives.

Our unique erosion control system is environmentally friendly and utilizes compost made from green waste collected at council dumping sites.  The special additive, Microblend®, is manufactured under license right here in Brisbane.  Ecoblanket is designed to “stick” to seemingly impossible slopes and to withstand even the heaviest downpours of rain.  We have had enormous success with germination rates (usually around the 70%-80% mark) and with the containment of erosion on the treated sites. 

Our specially designed blower trucks can apply Ecoblanket® and Ecoberm® at rates that need to be seen to be believed.  This translates into massive savings in man power.  Our blower units are so powerful that the product can be blown through pipes of 100m or more or used in conjunction with a cherry picker to reach those inaccessible places. 

It is our belief that our erosion control system can provide an easy, cost effective solution to many sites that might previously have found themselves in the “too hard” basket. 

Groundworks can also pump soils, mulches and gravel with the aid of our bark blowers.  The powerful engines on our trucks can pump the products up at least 7 storeys, across 150m and through even the narrowest of spaces.
