The ASMA 2008 national conference – Sponsorship - The Next Dimension promises to be our best conference ever…  

This year the conference is being developed to take the discipline of sponsorship marketing to the next dimension.  We have taken on board your feedback and updated the conference to include cutting-edge keynotes, panels, and roundtables addressing the hot industry topics.  We will also be introducing advanced closed-session streams facilitated by leading industry figures and high-profile speakers for  sponsors and rights-holders alike, increased networking opportunities and a innovative social program.   

The speaker line-up we are assembling will be our best yet, where we are currently finalising leading  international  speakers and a cross section of Australasia’s best sponsorship practitioners representing our top corporate sponsors, advertising, sponsorship and measurement agencies and rights-holders from the sports, arts, leisure and entertainment sectors.

We have a new conference home for 2008 in Conrad Jupiters at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast offering world-class facilities, access to great restaurants, beaches, shopping and nightlife.  The Conference has been scheduled from 7-9 October to ensure the majority of our membership is able to attend and we are not hampered by the football finals season like we have been in the past. 

A new Conference Committee has been formed under the watchful eye of our Conference Chairman and board member Simon Baggs.  This committee will be supported by a newly appointed professional conference organiser, Iceberg Events to ensure that things run as smoothly as possible and to that we are poised for growth in conference numbers and able to deliver the best service possible to our members and supporters.

As the industry body run by the industry for the industry and the voice of our business we strongly encourage you to support this years’  conference.
