Optional CPR Workshop

This course will fulfil the requirements of this CPD triennium of a resuscitation course.  Each participant will have use of a CPR mannequin for the duration of the training, and take home a keyring faceshield (CPR barrier device) and a CPR poster. This course also includes afternoon tea.

This CPR Workshop will only be run if minimum numbers are achieved. You will be notified via email if the workshop has been cancelled and a full refund will be given.

This is a practical session, complimenting the more general session given in the conference itself.  Participants will be taken through the various colour vision tests: screening, intermediate and advanced that pertain to the assessment of colour vision in aviation, including the Farnsworth Lantern/Optec 900, using the equipment involved themselves.

The proper delivery and interpretation of tests will be explained. Participants will then use the tests on one another. Anomaloscopy will also be demonstrated. Finally, examples of real abnormal test results will be given to participants for their guided interpretation.  An electronic manual will be given to participants.
