Sponsorship & Trade Opportunities
We expect around 120 delegates from all over Australia and New Zealand. ASAM members are mainly General Practitioners with an interest in aviation, many of whom are pilots themselves. ASAM also has a strong representation of medical practitioners in the military. The purpose of this important national event is to provide a formal professional development meeting incorporating opportunities for Australian & New Zealand health practitioners to interact, share experiences, hear other’s stories, teach and learn. The Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine will apply to the RACGP for this learning activity to be accredited for Category 1 points. The 2010 Conference will have two and a half days of conferencing – beginning with the Welcome Reception on Thursday evening at the National Portrait Gallery, and finishing with a Farewell Lunch on Sunday afternoon. The 2010 Conference will be held at the Shine Dome. Trade displays will be held in the area where delegates will congregate during catering breaks.
