Geraldine is the principal consultant of Geraldine Burton and Associates, a Sydney based psychology practice that has provided organisational consulting services to the health sector and counselling, psychotherapy and coaching services to the public since 1985.  Geraldine has postgraduate qualifications in psychology, education, coaching and hypnotherapy and has trained in a wide range of psychological therapies. She is a presenter for the University of New England Partnerships programs and is delighted to have spoken at numerous AAPM Conferences across the country.

Kylie Fahey is Deputy CEO of Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) and its subsidiary company Quality in Practice (QIP), which are the leading providers of accreditation services to general practice, optometry and physiotherapy in Australia. Previously Kylie has worked as Director Corporate Affairs for QIP/AGPAL and held government and non-government marketing and communication roles and has lead a number of change management projects.

From 1999 to 2006, Llew was co-founder and Executive Director of Queensland’s largest digital agency, Alfresco Design, prior to selling to an ASX listed digital agency. He is the currently the Managing Director of Reload Consulting Pty Ltd, a leading Brisbane based web, search engine optimisation, Internet marketing and business strategy company.

Llew has extensive management experience in corporate and government website development, search engine optimisation, eBusiness project direction, IT product development, usability, search marketing including Google ADWords and Strategic Internet business development. He has managed numerous high-profile web and IT design, consulting, implementation, redevelopment and maintenance projects throughout Australia and overseas. Llew is also an experienced business strategist and consults in business strategy and planning, marketing plans and innovation for SMEs and large business clients.

Website and IT project accounts managed over the past decade by Llew have included BOSE, ABN Amro Morgans, Super Cheap Auto, DEWR, Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, Department of Immigration and Citizenship, Energex, Queensland University of Technology, Rio Tinto, Westpac, Queensland Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Queensland Department of Communities, Priestleys Gourmet Delights, Bank of Queensland, the Queensland Department of Employment and Training, the Australian Federation of Travel Agents, Bartons Group, Ray White – Paddington, McCann-Erickson, Devine Ltd, Ambit and Asthma Queensland.

Llew is also a co-founder and director of the leading online gift voucher website Pampered.com.au. Since starting Pampered.com.au in 2007, Llew has focused on building the IT and website infrastructure required to maintain Pampered.com.au’s rapid international growth. He is responsible for all IT infrastructure, search engine optimisation, search marketing, operations and finance. Llew also plays a key role in continuing to seek B2B partnerships, growth opportunities and strategic marketing alliances.

Llew has significant success over the past decade in search engine optimisation and search marketing. He has managed and coordinated websites for his own businesses and high profile clients that have achieved first place rankings on popular searches for Google and other leading search engines. This has provided Llew’s clients with profitable, innovative and low cost online promotional channels and global branding.

He is past Vice President and Treasurer on the Queensland Executive of the Australian Interactive Industry Multimedia Association (AIMIA). Llew is a mentor for the Queensland State Government Mentoring for Growth program and is an industry advisor to the Griffith University IT Masters and Multimedia programs.

 

Angela McLeod

Health Services Advisor

Angela McLeod is the Health Services Advisor for Q-COMP, the Queensland Workers’ Compensation Regulatory Authority. Q-COMP is responsible for establishing and maintaining the table of costs and guidelines for medical and allied health services under the scheme. 

Angela’s role includes promotion and education of the Queensland Workers’ Compensation Scheme to both medical and allied health providers.

Colleen Sullivan

Practice Manager

Colleen Sullivan is a practice manager with a long term interest in Informed Financial Consent. A member of the Eclipse Reference Group, she has presented IFC workshops for practitioners, managers and staff of General Practices and Specialist practices

With over 30 years of clinical experience, working in mental health facilities, community health and in acute hospital settings, Merilyn has developed expertise in stress and anxiety management, depression, pain management, symptom management during cancer treatment and smoking cessation. Merilyn has a particular interest in working with clients to promote improved quality of life using guided imagery, relaxation techniques, cognitive behaviour therapy and other psychodynamic approaches tailored to individual need.

 

Jenne Turner

Psychologist

Jenne is a health psychologist with a specific interest in non surgical and surgical weight loss.
She believes weight management is a complex issue that benefits from a multidisciplinary team approach. She assists people in determining life as a healthier person and making this concept a reality for the long term. This often requires dealing with any underlying issues contributing to disordered eating. She believes lifestyle change is one of the most difficult objectives to achieve and the journey to a healthier lifestyle is one of personal development and whist it is important to have goals to work towards; it is the journey which matters.

Dr Beres Wenck

MDA National

Dr Beres Wenck is a general practitioner keenly interested in championing health systems delivery and reform. She was the Medical Director of two Coordinated Care Trials from 1997-2005.

She is a Past President of Queensland AMA and Brisbane North Division of General Practice (largest Division in Australia). She was awarded a Fellowship of the AMA in 2000 and in 2007 was awarded the “the President’s Award” in Queensland which is given in recognition of service and professionalism.

She is the Chair of the GP Advocacy and Support National Standing Committee for the Royal Australian College of General Practice and has made significant contributions to three publications – “Being Human, Being Safer”, Thinking Safety, Being Safer” and “Near Misses”

She is a Councillor of MDA National, Chair of the Queensland Advisory Committee of MDA National and Chair of the National Risk Management Committee. On behalf of MDA National she authored five case studies in risk management for the GP online Learning Program of the RACGP.

Dr Wenck was recently commissioned to write a paper on Models of primary and community care in 2020 for the National Health and Hospital Reform Commission.

Dr Wenck is often interviewed for publications and has been an invited speaker on many occasions on health delivery and risk management. She was an invited Speaker on Emerging Risks at the PIAA (Physician Insurers Association of America) International Conference in Paris in October 2008.
