Gwen Ewing

Gwen Ewing

Change Manager
Newstead Office Project
ENERGEX

Prior to joining ENERGEX in 2003 Gwen worked for Praxa Limited in Brisbane and Melbourne for 5 years working in the fields of communications and marketing, before being head hunted to a position in marketing with TNT Vehicle Logistics in Sydney.

These roles gave Gwen a wealth of knowledge and experience that enabled her to move into her new role in the ENERGEX Corporate Development department that managed and coordinated major projects for the organisation.

The natural progression from this role was for Gwen to play a major part in the Transition project for ENERGEX.  This project consisted of the sale of the Retail arm of ENERGEX and the management of the resulting people and process changes involved.  This was an extensive and integrated project which was highly successful.

When ENERGEX sought an internal Change Manager to manage and oversee the Newstead Office Project, Gwen was the obvious choice due to her abilities, training and skills in communications established on other internal projects.

This project requires the consolidation of the CBD offices into one purpose built office at Newstead with the relocation of over 1500 staff in mid 2010.  This relocation for the organisation will drive significant cultural change.

Since joining the project in October 2007 Gwen has gone from strength to strength in the management and implementation of change and her experience ensures that the Newstead office project change management runs smoothly.
